10am to 4pm each day
 
Learn to paint a beautiful portrait of a garden bird using pastel pencils, hard and soft pastels. 
 
This is a beginners/improvers workshop, demonstrations, tips, techniques and
advice will be given throughout the two day workshop.
 
1. Studying your subject and choosing the right colours
2. Transferring images on to your paper
3. Underpainting and values
4. Detailing eyes and other facial features
5. Skin/Feather detailing and how to achieve a realistic look
6. Finishing touches
 
I’ll be covering different types of pastels, painting surfaces and other materials and accessories.
 
All materials are included in the cost of the workshop.
 
All refreshments are provided throughout the two days including limitless tea, coffee, cake and biscuits!
 
Please bring a packed lunch. 
 
We can recommend accommodation near by and we do have a Shepherds Hut for rental at special rates if you would like to stay at our farm.
 
We are located in the Cotswolds in an area of outstanding natural beauty a short drive to Moreton in Marsh, Stow on the Wold and Chipping Norton.
