Introduction to Illustrating Animal Characters
This beginners Illustration workshop will give you great tips, techniques and advice on how to create your own expressive animal characters to use as children's picture book illustrations or create unique cards or paintings. 
  
We will be... 
Using photo references to create your own characters by simplifying features and characteristics
How to sketching out your ideas on paper using shapes, facial and body features
Detailing using clothing, environments 
Use graphite pencils to sketch out your final characters and transfer to paper and paint your characters in pastels
or import your sketch to an iPad and use Sketchbook Pro to paint your characters
 
There will be demonstrations, tips, techniques and advice given throughout the two day workshop.
 
All materials are included in the cost of the workshop.
 
All refreshments are provided throughout the two days including limitless tea, coffee, cake and biscuits!
 
Please bring a packed lunch. 
 
We can recommend accommodation near by and we do have a Shepherds Hut for rental at special rates if you would like to stay at our farm.
